According to the FWC, the 2025 spiny lobster season, which is commonly known as lobster mini season, is set to take place on Wednesday, July 30 and Thursday, July 31.

This is open to both Florida residents and non-residents, officials said, and it’s intended to provide an opportunity to harvest lobsters before the regular season opens on August 6.

FWC officials are noting that there is no one-day season for Florida residents.

There has been misinformation circulating online regarding this, and the FWC wants to be clear that there is no one-day event.
