MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — A 7-year-old girl was in a white sports utility vehicle when her drunken father was driving recklessly on Friday morning in Miami-Dade County, according to law enforcement.
Dairon Jauma Granado reeked of alcohol, had bloodshot eyes, and slurred his speech after he was caught driving at about 105 mph while he nearly crashed with another driver, according to law enforcement.
Jauma Granado was arrested shortly before 1:25 a.m., after he was speeding southbound on State Road-874, near Killian Parkway, according to law enforcement.
Miami-Dade County correctional deputies booked him at 1:55 a.m., at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, inmate records show.
Jauma Granado faced charges of driving under the influence and child abuse.
