PEMBROKE PARK, Fla. — A man was hospitalized after he was struck by a car while riding his scooter.
Dash camera video captured the crash, which happened early Wednesday evening in Pembroke Park.
Video shows the driver turning left off West Hallandale Beach Boulevard, into a shopping center, when a person riding a scooter collides with the side of the car.
Authorities said the scooter rider was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital as a trauma alert due to a leg injury.
It is not known whether the driver will face any citations or charges.
