Powerball ticket worth $1 million sold at South Florida 7-Eleven

LAKE WORTH, Fla. — One lucky Powerball player hit the $1 million prize after purchasing a second-tier winning ticket at a 7-Eleven store in Lake Worth, Florida Lottery officials confirmed Thursday.

The $1 million ticket matched all five white ball numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing: 5-9-25-28-69, but missed the red Powerball number: 5. The Power Play multiplier was 2.

It was sold at 7-Eleven, located at 7479 Lake Worth Road, according to Florida Lottery officials.

They said the winning ticket was a Quick Pick and did not include the Power Play option.

The next Powerball drawing is scheduled for Saturday. Players have until 10 p.m. ET on draw days to purchase tickets.
