A handful of TGI Fridays restaurants remain open in South Florida as more locations have closed their doors across the country this month.
According to the restaurant’s website on Tuesday, 85 locations remain open across the county.
The company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in October 2024.
According to a media release, the company said it would offer more than 1,000 transfer opportunities, which represents over 80% of total impacted employees.
There are six locations still open in the South Florida area in Plantation, Coral Springs, Hollywood, Pembroke Pines, North Miami Beach and the Miami International Airport.
The Miami Beach location closed last Fall and restaurants in Royal Palm Beach and Ormond Beach also closed last year.
